Copper is a mineral that many people have a deficit of due to diet, or natural deficiencies caused by medical conditions. It can be found in numerous food stuffs, taken as a supplement or worn as an accessory for absorption (things such as bracelets and anklets).

Common Uses:

Additional benefits:

– Necessary for the manufacture of many bodily enzymes; including Superoxide Dismutase (S.O.D) which appears to be one of the bodies most potent antioxidants
– Keeps LDL (bad) cholesterol levels down and promotes increases in HDL (good) cholesterol levels

Preventative factors:

Recommended intake:

– Between 1.5 and 3mg daily to ensure regular bodily function; can be obtained from food or supplementation
– If you take a regular zinc supplement for longer than one month, we recommend you take 2mg of copper daily as zinc inhibits your bodies ability to absorb copper

Microbial Copper:
